At the age of twenty, Hemant joined his father’s venture, Giriraj Jewellers, and transformed it into one of the leading jewellery showrooms in Rohtak, Haryana. His leadership and dedication earned him recognition in the industry, culminating in his appointment as the State General Secretary of the India Bullion and Jewellers Association in 2020. Hemant actively participates in national and international jewellery exhibitions and coalitions, furthering the reach and reputation of Giriraj Jewellers.
In 2010, Hemant Bakshi began his journey of social service, focusing on education for marginalized students and environmental conservation through plantation drives. As the President of NGO Jagriti Foundation, he championed women’s empowerment and de-addiction programs. His commitment to social causes led him to assume leadership roles in various organizations, including the Rohtak Traders Association and the Rotary Club of Rohtak Harmony. Through his initiatives, Hemant has organized health camps and provided support to vision-impaired, deaf, and differently-abled individuals, making meaningful contributions to the community.
